The Chasseur Tagine features a double enamelled, matt black, cast iron base and a lightweight, practical ceramic tagine lid. The cast iron base is the perfect material for cooking a tagine, as the even heat distribution and suitability for slow cooking marries exactly with the traditional method for making North African tagines. It can be used on any type of hob, in the oven or under the grill (base only).
The base of the tagine can be used for roasting and baking cakes, and would be the ultimate tarte tatin dish! Sized for a main course for 4 people.
