Getting your order

Dispatch and Delivery

For the vast majority of products we will endeavour to dispatch your purchase within 3 working days. You will be notified by email when we send your purchase to our delivery partner. Special Order appliances and equipment will normally take longer to dispatch. This is due to the fact that we do not hold stock of these products that come directly from manufacturers or Distributors. This extra step adds time to the process so we will liaise with you directly to keep you informed of the progress of your order.

 

Furniture products are also delivered directly from the Manufacturer or Distributer. Time scales for dispatch and delivery are shown within the product details. These details are for guidance only as we are subject to the system, processes and procedures for each Manufacturer or Distributer and cannot influence the actual dispatch of individual products. You will be kept in the loop as to the the exact expected date for dispatch and to gain information on your availability to accept the delivery.

DELIVERY PARTNERS - We dispatch orders across Europe from our eBay and Amazon sites and have therefore gained significant experience of the reliability of different delivery organisations. Based on this experience we now utilise either Royal Mail of logistic agents P4D (packages for Delivery).  Royal Mail are used for small UK parcel deliveries whilst we utilise P4D for everything else including some of our appliance deliveries. Please Note, some appliances are delivered directly from our Distributors by their Delivery Partner KnowHow Curry. Where this is the case we will monitor your order and keep you informed.

In the majority of cases you will be issued with a tracking number so that you can track the progress of your order yourself.

REMOTE LOCATION DELIVERIES - Certain bulky or heavy orders will be subject to delivery surcharges.  These Surcharges are levied by delivery companies for delivering large items to remote locations of the UK, these locations include Scottish Highlands and Islands, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, and all other non-mainland UK locations. Where Surcharges apply these will be identified on the Product Page associated with delivery of the specific product. Typically this can be for kitchen appliances, some garden equipment or any product of 20kg or over.

Please Note: If a Surcharge applies to a product you will be asked to identify the area that you require the product to be delivered to determine if a Surcharge is applicable and if so at what level. IMPORTANT: .Surcharges are not retained by CHS, they are paid to the delivery agent when arranging the delivery. Surcharge payments are non-refundable for cancellations or returns. 

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES - Most products below 10kg in weight are available for World wide dispatch and delivery. Products over 10kg may not be available for world wide dispatch however products over 10kg but under 20kg are available for European Dispatch and Delivery. We have tried guidance on international availability in the product details. If you need additional information regarding International availability please contact us via customer.services@cookerco.com

Installation options.

Some products are available with Delivery and Installation options. Where this option is available it is limited to addresses on Mainland UK or specified regional coverage. Installation is not an option for "Remote" areas of the UK, it's Highlands or Islands, or Internationally..

 

Our supplier of kitchen appliances has formed an agreement with Currys "KNOWHOW" Services to support the delivery and installation of cookers, certain ovens, washing machines and dishwashers. Where specified, this service is available to CHS customers.  We can also arrange for the removal and disposal of old appliances where customers have chosen the delivery and installation option. Please note that the delivery and installation of equipment by Kowhow is strictly in compliance with Knowhow's Terms,  Conditions and operating practices.
